Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development issues national standards
Announcement on the General Specification for Fire Protection Facilities
The General Specification for Fire Protection Facilities is now approved as a national standard, with the number GB 55036-2022, and will be implemented from March 1, 2023. This specification is a mandatory engineering construction specification, and all provisions must be strictly implemented. If there is any inconsistency between the relevant provisions of the current engineering construction standards and this specification, the provisions of this specification shall prevail. The national standards "Code for Design of Halogenane 1211 Fire Extinguishing Systems" GBJ 110-1987, "Code for Design of Halogenane 1301 Fire Extinguishing Systems" GB 50163-1992, and "Code for Design of Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishing Systems" GB 50193-1993 have been converted into recommended national standards, numbered GB/T 50110-1987, respectively GB/T 50163-1992、GB/T 50193-1993。 Simultaneously abolish the mandatory provisions related to the following engineering construction standards:
