From October 17 to 18, the third "the Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was held in Beijing.
As the opening activity of the third the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, the the Belt and Road Entrepreneurs Conference was held at the National Convention Center on the afternoon of the 17th. The "the Belt and Road" Entrepreneurs Conference is divided into plenary meetings and signing ceremony. It aims to build a communication and exchange platform for the national and regional business communities jointly building the "the Belt and Road", promote practical economic and trade cooperation, and promote common development and prosperity. The Entrepreneurs Conference gathered nearly 1200 Chinese and foreign representatives from all over the world, mainly including more than 20 foreign ministerial officials, 33 heads of foreign trade associations and 59 representatives of the world's top 500 enterprises. It became a milestone in promoting the construction of the "the Belt and Road" from "freehand brushwork" to "fine brushwork", opening more space for global economic growth, and making new contributions to building a community of shared future for mankind.
He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the conference and delivered a speech. At the Entrepreneurs Conference, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, issued the Beijing Declaration of the "the Belt and Road" Entrepreneurs Conference.
The Declaration includes five aspects: adhering to open cooperation, deepening connectivity, adhering to green development, promoting digital economy cooperation, adhering to compliant operation, and fulfilling social responsibilities.
Ren Hongbin introduced that before the conference, representatives of the participating business circles had extensive and in-depth exchanges, reached a series of consensus and formed the Declaration around the theme of "high-quality co construction of the the Belt and Road, and work together to achieve common development and prosperity".
The Declaration states that we will jointly maintain the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization as the core and rules as the basis, promote the development of an open world economy, form more cooperation mechanisms through the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", and build a safe, stable, unimpeded, efficient, open, inclusive, and win-win global industrial chain supply chain system.
After the release of the Declaration, nearly 300 Chinese and foreign representatives signed cooperation agreements on site.
